Last week we were introduced to the concept of FAITH as a tool that can be used, or a process that can be applied and thus brings us into another dimension, another level and another land positively full of milk and honey with references made to Abraham and Noah.

This week in the second part of FAITH, we can relate faith to a will of which the contents are not disclosed or known until it is read. The lawyer reads and explained the will, while the preacher reads and explains the bible in relation to faith, which is not seen but await for. The constant consultation into the word of God – the Bible will brings us closer to our destination already prepared for us by the Almighty God.

It is appropriate to know what outcome awaits the faithful. In the outcome of faith and its components faith is likened to a defensive weapons in Ephesians 6:16. Apostle Paul advised us to take “….the shield of faith …” of which can be used to “…quench all the fiery darts of the wicked ones.

What can save us from the arrows of the evil ones is the shield of faith. We’ve got to believe and have faith that our God can save us. If we do, then we can use His Name that is above all Names to destroy the powers of darkness, principalities and strongholds of satanic oppressions. This will surely please God.

Faith can also save our sickness and wipe away our sins as James, the brother and disciple of Jesus advised us in his epistle in James 5:14-15. The instance was also evident where Jesus healed the paralytic through his faith and forgave the sin, (Matthew 9:1-6). Wwhhaaoo!!! What a manner of MAN is JESUS. Forgiving sins and save-healing simultaneously. I want to be like Jesus. See this, “But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins … Arise…” (Matt. 9:6b)

Faith can also be a source of protective clothing or protection as evidently shown by King David trusting the Lord that He only can deliver him from the hands of Goliath of the Philistines (I Samuel 17:37). Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego rhetorically boasted the power of God to Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 3:16-17 with this word “…our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us from your hand, O king.” Imagine you having to choose between just to bow down and become a manager of an institution, against being thrown into the fire and…well, dead. In this time of age I think the choice to many is obvious. But the end eventually justified the means as these men became victorious. Faith became the shield of protective clothing against the furnace of fire. Wwhhaaoo!!! What a manner of GOD is…well, GOD.

The president has been set. We do not have to succumb to the pressure of friends, the pressure of families, the pressure of success or failure and the pressure from the authorities and compromise our faith, which was architect by Jesus whose faith in His father compelled Him to lay down His life. The Power of our God is more supreme and effectual when hope is fully lost and we are fully hopeless. At that precise point, God want us to put that tiny faith into action in order to see the mighty hands in action.

Remain Blessed this week
